Son Goku's Super Saiyan transformation is one of the most legendary moments in Dragon Ball Z, first achieved during the Frieza Saga on the planet Namek. Driven by rage and grief after the death of his friend Krillin at Frieza's hands, Goku ascends to this legendary form, dramatically increasing his power with golden hair, teal eyes, and a blazing golden aura. This transformation became a defining element of the Dragon Ball franchise and set the standard for power escalations throughout the series.
