Sun-Star Stationery presents Agumon from Digimon Adventure as part of their 20th Anniversary Petit Bungu Stand collection, standing approximately 105mm tall. This release commemorates two decades of the franchise that introduced millions to the Digital World and its inhabitants. Digimon Adventure premiered in 1999 as an anime series following a group of children known as the DigiDestined, who are transported to the Digital World and partnered with Digimon creatures. Agumon is the partner Digimon of Taichi "Tai" Yagami, the group's leader, and one of the most recognizable characters in the franchise. Agumon can digivolve into more powerful forms, most notably Greymon and MetalGreymon, in response to danger.
