Rikka Takanashi is the protagonist of the Chuunibyou series and the founder and president of the Far Eastern Magic Napping Society of Summer. She suffers from chūnibyō, or eighth-grader syndrome, believing herself to be a sorceress possessed by the Tyrant's Eye, which she seals beneath a medical eyepatch worn over her right eye. Those who have seen her Tyrant's Eye are considered to have signed a contract with her. She has dark purple-blue hair tied with a yellow ribbon and wears a yellow contact lens beneath her eyepatch.
