Kaiyodo's Revoltech SFX line launches with the iconic Alien as its number 001 entry, based on the legendary creature from Ridley Scott's 1979 science fiction horror film. Standing approximately 150mm tall and sculpted by Yatake Yoshinori, this figure is made from ABS and PVC materials. The Alien, also known as the Xenomorph, originated from the film that defined the sci-fi horror genre, depicting the crew of the commercial towing spaceship Nostromo who encounter a deadly extraterrestrial organism after investigating a mysterious signal on an uncharted planet. The creature's biomechanical design, created by artist H.R. Giger, has become one of the most recognizable monster designs in cinema history. The Revoltech line's signature revoltech joints allow for a wide range of articulation, enabling collectors to recreate the creature's menacing poses. Priced at 3,619 JPY, this figure marked the beginning of the Revoltech SFX sub-line, which focused on science fiction and horror properties. A new package version of this figure was also released, making it accessible to new collectors.
